General Information & Rates for 2007

The Aqua Tiki is a 46 ft long catamaran sailing the crystal waters of French Polynesia.
Based in Fakarava, in the Tuamotu Archipelago, the Aqua Tiki proposes different tailor-made cruises from 8 to 14 days or more with itineraries adapted to your personal wish!

Dedicated to divers, honeymooners or small groups (from 2 to 6 divers or 7 non divers only!)…
The boat is made for your own personal enjoyment!

With 3 large cabins equipped with private bathroom/Hi-fi/TV/VCR, the boat also offers a large ward-room, a sundeck & a sun protected cockpit where meals are usually served. A hostess (responsible for food & service), a professional skipper as well as a scuba diving instructor make up the crew and are accommodated in other cabins.

Compulsory Christmas & New Years Eve supplements :

These supplements have to be applied in addition to all the above cruise rates : 199 USD per person

Cancellation Fees : 138 USD per person will be retained

Payment policy :

30% of total invoice is due upon reservation.
Balance is due 30 days prior cruise departure.

2007 seasonalities:

High season : from March 01st to April 30th and from July 01st to september 30th, 2007.
Low season : the rest of the year.

Cancellation policy :

If cancellation received more than 91 days prior to departure : 138 USD / pax will be retained
If cancellation received between 90 and 31 days prior to departure : 30 % of total fare will be retained
If cancellation received less than 30 days prior to departure : 100 % of total fare will be retained

Important Remarks :

1. All rates are per person, in USD. They are valid from January 01st to December 31st, 2007.
   Moreover, these rates are based on 2006 Government taxes. Should these be modified for 2007, we do reserve the right to amend the rates accordingly.
    


2. Inclusion & Exclusion :
   2007 Rates include :
   - Roundtrip transfers airport/boat in Fakarava
   - Accommodation (on the boat, and eventually in a family pension on the very last charter night ; to be
   reconfirmed upon reservation)
   - All meals & water (mineral water and alcohol not included)
   - Cruise with skipper, hostess and scuba diving instructor
   - Activities such as : kayaking, fishing, snorkelling…Land excursions could be organized on spot directly with the crew
   - Diving (2 dives a day) & diving material if "diver rates" are quoted
   
   Rates do not include :
   - Air transportation (ATTENTION : special maximum luggage allowed for divers on domestic flights : 25 kg per person – instead of 20kg – if both International Diving card & International flights tickets are presented upon Air Tahiti check-in)
   - Water-skiing
   - Diving for non divers (additional rate to be paid on spot)
   - Special diving equipment (oxygen decompression stop, etc…)
    
3. Single policy :
   Please note that Singles are welcome without any supplement ONLY IF :
   - they wish to share a cabin
   - the Aquatiki company finds someone else to share a cabin with (please note that there is only one double bed per cabin).
   If and only if these 2 conditions are met, the single rate will be revised to double cabin rate
    
4. Booking procedure & policy :
   Departure date will be set according to Aquatiki reservation calendar and cruise length requested by the clients.
   Some clients may join a pre-existing program & cruise (if a cabin remains available on board) or they may set their own departure up according to the boat availability. Other clients may then join them.
   Thus, an exact itinerary can never be confirmed long in advance.
   Details will be given upon reservation.
    
5. Diving :
   Number of dives per day: 2 dives. No night dive.
   Level: Intermediate to advanced (most of the dives are drift dives)
    
6. Departures are guaranteed :
   - from 2 pers for cruises
   - from 1 pers for Private cruises
