REMARKS

1. Package rates include accommodation, excursions & all transfers.
   Domestic air fares are not included
In order to benefit from the special quoted rates, number of nights on each island and services can not be reduced

2. All rates are per person, in USD. They are valid until December 31st, 2007; based on 2006 Government taxes. Should these be modified for 2007, we do reserve the right to amend the rates accordingly.
   
3. Service Tax for an amount of 1% is not included. Service Tax applies to accommodation, meals and beverages. It will be automatically added to your quote.

During Christmas and New Year Season, Special Conditions and Compulsory Meals may apply. Rates and Conditions are not yet available.

4. Please note that a minimum of 12 years old is requested for the above excursions for security reasons and due to the level of difficulty of the hikes.
   
5. The suppliers have accepted to operate the above programs based on a MINIMUM of 2 pers travelling together. They reserve the right however to have other clients joining the party on some excursions. Consequently, please note that these programs are non private programs & ask upon request for special private individual or group rates.
   
6. Lunch is included in full day excursions as specified.
   
7. The selected hikes and excursions are accessible to people with a good general physical condition.
   Please be advised that in tropical countries like French Polynesia, elevation is not a difficulty criteria: high humidity and temperatures can alter your physical condition. We advise you to not over estimate your capacities of endurance.
   
8. Most of the hikes involve numerous river crossings; adequate shoes and clothing are highly recommended (specific equipment: ropes, wetsuits... being always provided by the guide when necessary).
   
9. "Full Day Inner Island Safari" is not available on 25dec & 01jan. "Full Day Lagoon cruise" on Moorea & "Full Day L'excursion Bleue" are not available on Sunday "Half Day Hike to the Waterfalls" on Raiatea is a morning tour only
   A driving licence is requested for the "Quad/ATV excursion through the Papenoo Valley" . Only 1 person per ATV.
   Note as well that there is no hiking guide available on December 25th 2007 & January 01st, 2007.
   
10. Cancellation policy:
    1. Prior to the trip:
       For any cancellation made:
    • 15 to 7 days before departure: 50% of the trip will be refunded
    • Within 7 days: no refund.
    2. During the trip:
       Tahiti Nui Travel is not responsible for delays or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strikes or other factors beyond Tahiti Nui Travel's control.
       Should an additional overnight be required due to any of these causes, the hotel, meals and associated costs will be the passenger's responsibility.
       Regarding the excursions:
       • Depending on security factors and weather conditions, only the guide is habilitated to cancel or modify the tour.
         He will try his best to propose a substitute in accordance with the group.
       • No refund will be made for unused portions of the tour due to voluntary cancellations.
    3. Claims:
       Tahiti Nui Travel will not accept any liability for any claims that are not received within 15 days of the termination of the tour.
       
11. Regarding the pensions, please be advised that they are family pensions. Accommodation is correct and service is friendly but limited.
    However, these establishments may not meet international hotel standards.
    Pension Relais Fenua & Sunset Beach Motel do not have restaurant on site.
    Regarding Pension Relais Fenua : please note that Pre Registration is compulsory for any arrival between midnight & 6 am ; Late Check Out is compulsory for
    any departure between 7 pm & 6 am.
    The Pre Registration and Late Check Out are NOT quoted in the 3nights/4days Adventure package in Tahiti (Standard program). Please revert to us
    should you need to quote them.
    
12. For your information, a 2007 communal tax has to be paid directly by the client at the hotel or at the pension. However, we do not know yet the 2007 ones. Here are for your perusal, 2006 taxes :
• Tahiti: : 150 cfp / night / pers
• Moorea: 150 cfp / night / pers
• Raiatea: no tax
  (Average Exchange rate: 1 USD = 100 Cfp - Pacific Franc)
  Please note that the amount still needs to be reconfirmed by the Government of French Polynesia.
